Product Overview
T3 Tablets from British Dragon each hold 25 mcg of liothyronine sodium, the synthetic version of the active thyroid hormone triiodothyronine. Every tablet is a fixed 25 mcg step, pressed and packed under GMP conditions with the mass stated on the pack. The compound is not an anabolic and has no place in a bulking plan. It belongs to the metabolic side of the catalogue, where it is used to raise the rate at which the body spends energy, and it is the reason the 25 mcg tablet is both the standard unit and, for many users, twice the dose they actually start on.
By weight liothyronine is roughly four times as potent as the T4 form, and unlike T4 it does not need to be converted by the body before it acts. A dose beyond what the thyroid would normally produce lifts basal metabolic rate, heart rate and temperature, and the appetite and energy that follow are the visible side of the same mechanism. For a cut it is normally combined with a thermogenic fat-loss agent such as Clenbuterol Tablets, and it is stacked against a lean phase built on a short testosterone ester or on a hardening compound such as Mastabol 100, because the dose here burns tissue indiscriminately unless training and protein intake are already in place.
Two things make the product different from a fat burner. The thyroid axis reacts to what is taken, so the end of a course is stepped down instead of stopped, and the sources reviewed here do not put a fixed number on how long natural output takes to settle. Both points are treated below as limits rather than as details.
Dosage Protocol
Dose ranges are taken from the project fact sheet for this compound and from the manufacturer label figure recorded there. The 25 mcg tablet dictates the arithmetic: the low rungs need a tablet split into halves or quarters.
| Beginner | 12.5-25 mcg daily across 4-6 weeks; the label states a 25 mcg start with 25 mcg increases every 1-2 weeks, while the sports protocols in the sources are flagged as community practice |
| Intermediate | 25-50 mcg a day for 4-6 weeks, divided into two intakes because the effect does not last a full day |
| Advanced | Up to 50-100 mcg daily in the final pre-contest weeks; the upper figure is where arrhythmia risk and muscle loss both climb |
| Female | A low 12.5-25 mcg start over 4-6 weeks is the only pattern in the sources; no separately validated female protocol was found. Confirmed dosing data for women is not available here. |
| Administration | Oral, morning dose preferred, split into two servings; the level rises about 45 minutes after intake and peaks near 2.5 hours |
Metabolic Protocols
Nothing here is a standalone course. The tablet is added to a plan that already controls food, and it is judged by what the scale and the mirror do over four to six weeks.
What to Expect
The first signals come from the metabolic rate going up, and they arrive within days rather than weeks.
- Days one to three. Body temperature and sweating rise and the pulse is quicker - the direct consequence of a higher resting energy spend.
- Week one to two. More calories leave the system, so weight starts to move on the same menu that previously held it steady.
- Week three to four. With the diet already tight, dryness and definition become visible; this is the point of the protocol.
- Strength may fall. At the high end of the range muscle leaves alongside fat, which is why the dose is not pushed up to speed the result.
- Limit. Going past the intended dose reproduces hyperthyroid symptoms - anxiety, tremor, insomnia, and irregular rhythms including atrial fibrillation in susceptible users.
- Limit two. The sources reviewed for this card give no fixed timeline for the return of natural thyroid output after the last tablet; the fact sheet records that gap as unconfirmed.
- Limit three. Heart disease or an existing thyroid condition makes this product unsuitable outside medical supervision.
Side Effects and Management
Every entry below is a dose effect that fades when the amount comes down, which makes the dose the first thing to review.
Tapering and Thyroid Recovery
A SERM schedule has no role with a thyroid hormone, because the drug does not touch the testosterone axis. What runs in its place is a step-down at the end of the course and a check some weeks later.
